MODEL: 2003 Porsche 911 Targa
OWNER: Charles M.
The Targa version of the 996 was not a popular choice, but it’s fallen into favor as the cars have begun to age. Originally deadpanned by some Porschephiles for the fried egg headlights and round body lines, the 996 is starting to make a comeback and is turning out to be a best-buy in the used car market. It’s a ton of excitement for the money and if the engine has been properly addressed, a reliable sports car as well — especially with the Targa roof open.
