Stuttgart Studios announces the latest addition to the product catalog, this time the performance-oriented R32 from German manufacturer Volkswagen. This new design template may also be used for other Volkswagens of similar vintage — dependent on resources and available model information.

The R32 launched as a 2008-only model and piggy-backed on the decades of success of VW’s venerable GTI® platform.  Equipped with VW’s most-powerful engine ever stuck into the Golf platform and producing 250hp, the R32 was also outfitted with 4MOTION®  all-wheel drive to put the power down effortlessly in all climates.  Limited to just 5,000 production units, the R32 could be ordered in one of four colors; Tornado Red, Candy White, United Gray Metallic, and Deep Blue Metallic. Options were limited with only a DVD Navigation system being cost-optional.  The 2008 VW stickers were carryover designs from prior years and stuck around a bit longer until graphics and layouts were revised along with updated EPA templates.  A decade later, VW would revisit the R32’s cult following by launching the Golf R — the most powerful Golf-platform product in the company’s history.
