The 560SL was the top-of-the-line roadster for Mercedes that transitioned from 3- and 4-liter cars to the ultimate 5.6-liter V8 in the late 1980s. The consummate gentleman’s cabriolet, the 560SL maintains classic design lines from the past while achieving upscale levels of refinement and driving pleasure. The 1989 model was the ultimate incarnation.
