DETAILS:
The Type-R was the successor to Acura’s first performance-oriented the model the GS-R. The Type-R was by all measures a better car but still retained the high-revving nature of the GS-R and came alive at higher RPM’s with the Honda V-TEC engine. Phoenix Yellow was a desirable color but not often checked on the order sheet. Today, Type-Rs are escalating in value with excellent condition/low-mileage examples fetching original MSRP or higher.
