The 2016 GT-R Black Edition carried over the same powerplant from the prior model year —  the Twin Turbo V6, pushed out 545hp and 463 lb-ft while connected to Nissan’s renowned ATESSA® all-wheel drive system that also found its way into Infiniti products. The Black Edition came with 20″ RAYS® wheels, exclusive Recaro® bucket seats, and some additional carbon-fiber bits. Nicknamed “Godzilla”, the GT-R was a cult icon on Japan for decades through many prior iterations, but never designed, crash-tested, and federalized for the USA market.  That changed with this model and it became an instant hit, with following years receiving even more power and technology.  This specific window sticker includes extremely minor changes from the previous GT-R Monroney designs in prior years.
