The 325is was perhaps the next best thing to the E30 M3 and at a more affordable price point. With spoilers and skirts specific to the “is”, the Bimmer looked the part and handled better than the standard 3-series. And unlike the comparable 4-cylinder M3, 325is owners enjoyed the 6-cylinder engine — perhaps the best powerplant BMW has ever produced.
